So important.. I personally used to have to do this every other time I practiced yoga until I finally learned to do my poses ‘out of my wrists’, making sure my weight is away from the wrists, hands ‘pushing the ground away’. Though after lots of planks, chaturangas, and downward facing dogs this will feel so great. Stretch out your wrists with this simple wrist stretch.
Here’s how to do it: get on all fours, shoulders over the wrists, knees are over the ankles. Externally rotate wrists towards knees, plant the palms down to the ground. Stay for 3 to 5 breaths.
