Isn’t it pretty?

My Pinkbook partner and I marveling over our new LLC status! It was probably one of the most productive nights we’ve had to date. Met at Morimoto and had White Lily’s along with amazing dish after dish after dish… all compliments of the restaurant!! Loved it.

A video I edited – thank you Cy as always for filming! I love the raw, editing process. I’ve never done voiceovers before so this was new and really fun for me to do.

This was the day of the Pinkbook Radiance pre-launch event.

It was beyond my expectations on how well the day flowed. All guests left happy, relaxed, and excited for the next one!

I am currently working on the Pinkbook website with a designer, as well as a few other projects. Spring will be the time to unveil many of these current projects.

I just want to make things happen…! xo

A candid shot being taken while I was subject to test the lighting in studio. The focus was my water gun in my huge rain boots. The full concept which you’ll see in the next issue of Manhattan Magazine, was so cute. It includes a water gun fight, geishas, and rain!

At the Meadowlands in New Jersey today for racing, and simultaneously there was a flea market at the next (parking) lot with lots and lots of.. stuff. Randomly found a traditional Korean doll on one of the market tables- so pretty!! Didn’t realize it was Korean day until I saw a stream of Instagram posts about the Korean day parade at Ktown, NYC just now. How coincidental! x Love.

Happy Korean Day x Happy Saturday!

This was supposed to be my Sunday post- but had food coma and lots of nap-time this weekend!! Happy Choo-suk to all the Koreans x

Finished editing my first video so that will be up very soon— just need to figure out YouTube account credential drama. Can’t remember my passwords emails to my old account! Yikes to the YouTube newbie.

Anyway the weekend was girlicious, and everything I expected it to be.

Photo: My hostess outfit – The ombré dress I never got to wear over the summer xo & the only boy allowed at my party, my puppy Colonel. Cute style quote from a girlfriend: “When hosting at home, wear a maxi.” True!

The sudden drift of this breezy Fall weather has gotten me excited for two reasons: 1) Transitional outfits!!! Love shorts for bare legs paired with boots and a big sweater on top- or a curve-hugging long sleeve + scarf. 2) Fall/Winter shopping selections.

My strategy to avoid over-spending is to create a wish list on Net-a-Porter, Shopbop, Barneys, and… obviously Sephora. Once the wish list is complete, purchases can be made for only the “can’t live withouts”. [A strategy I learned from my shopaholic assistant.]

Also, time to test moisturizers strong enough to withstand -17 degree NYC weather! Woot.

The best kind of relationships begin unexpectedly. We’ve gone through our first Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer together. It’s already been days away from a year for us. When you are lucky enough to find someone who appreciates you, appreciate them back. Always trust in love, understand before you judge, and live one day at a time without rush. Behind every happy girlfriend, is a man who knows how to treat a woman ♡ Photo: Love New York!

Currently:

Hangin’ out at Sephora like a beauty bum, ahem queen.

Caught a glimpse of a girl staring at me for longer than the awkward 9 seconds you are allowed to stare without being rude. (maybe it is because I am taking iPhone self portraits of myself here while waiting for Raebear to pick me up..?)

Love Sephora.

I feel completely at home here, everyone’s so nice and full of compliments! One Sephora girl said, “Wow! You look hydrated!” I am über excited to share my skin products with you tomorrow at FNO!

Photo: Post photo shoot for Manhattan Magazine in Soho. Super fun, even more fun now that I’m in my playhouse x

The best Italian Enoteca & Trattoria is in the West Villiage. Barbie bestie Heather took me to Rosemary’s to try the fare. Everything was exceptionally amazing. It really reminded me of my fresh eats in Italy with Ray. The sparkling red was an experience I’ve never had before with red vino- sweet and light. Octopus- great. Pasta- great. The bruschetta- so good.

The ambience was upbeat and perfect for end of summer leisure. The restaurant is also a farmhouse, with a full garden above the dining room, a charming feature. All veggies served are from their farm upstairs.

A tip: get there by 5 or 6 to be seated before they get filled up because they do fill up quick, and they don’t take reservations! Hours are 5 to midnight daily.

Rosemary’s – 18 Greenwich Ave. at 10th, NYC.

Last night at Image Powerhouse was an enlightening hosting experience.

The Singles Mixer Event held at the studio was a successful one. I loved playing the matchmaker fairy at the party while interviewing guests for our 3rd Webisode. Watch the first one on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_SJ71xGqUM&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Here are my top 3 insights from the mixer:

1) Purely platonic relationships do exist. I found an attractive girl and guy together- thought they were a couple at first, but they were just genuine decade-long friends. Both agreed they’d acknowledged one another’s attractiveness- but essentially knew how much more valuable their friendship was. It was an awwww moment.

2) Be with someone who lifts you up. One married gentleman mentioned the reason why he’s become successful is because of the woman he’s had by his side through the journey. His wife, he says, is low maintenance both emotionally and financially. She doesn’t ask for material things, nor does she require tons of attention to feel loved. So, he is more apt to give in those two departments- and it’s appreciated. “You want to be with a woman that makes your life easier.” Ahem- a mom replacement, ahem. I do agree though. We all need someone who simplifies our lives, not complicates it. Simplicity is key.

3) One of my interview questions for the men in the room was: What are the top three things you look for in a gal? Personality, physical attractiveness/nice smile, and charisma seemed to be the most popular answers.

So in conclusion, girls- be financially and emotionally independent, love yourself, and use Crest white strips/ accentuate lips with moisturizing lip balm and show off your smile- whether you are single or not!! x

A casual Friday calls for a loose blush tee, jeggings*, and stilettos. An intern says to me, “I could never walk in those.” I instinctively reply, “Of course you can- mind over matter.” Easy breezy.

What are some of your thoughts when closing a busy week? My quote on Twitter today was, “Limits exist only in the mind.” I think that pretty much sets the tone for the day of what I’d like to visualize to reality for the next few months.

Enough random rambling— happy Friday!

*Yes, I don’t care what anybody says- I love jeggings.

The pouring rain didn’t stop us girls from making an entrance at a NYC nightclub one misty summer night! We arrived in a limo, and truly made the night ours. The girls were gorgeous, and Kim & I found even more girls to perform on-the-spot mini-makeovers on in the VIP area. Skinny Girl Margaritas + Skinny Girl Cosmos were served after the first ever held ‘Bridal Bootcamp’ class inside the Grand Ballroom at the Plaza in NYC.

Post sweat session the bride-to-be, Annie, and I decided to continue the momentum of our workout by walking from the Plaza at 59th street, all the way home- Chinatown for her, FiDi for me. The pretty walk down 5th Ave, extra cardio burn*, and light alcohol buzz kept the walk/girl chit-chat going (for 65+ blocks!)

*Extra skinny and sore today.
