A Return To Love.. & Blogging

Written by , Posted in Attractive Energy, Clarity, Inner Purity

Dear Suni-babes,

It’s been a while since I’ve written on the blog, I must say my V-logging has definitely taken over and with a baby it’s just been more of an interactive experience sharing my mind, body, skin tips via video.

Like anything, when you have something removed from your routine for a while you understand what you are now missing. And while video is fun, I didn’t have the opportunity to internalize, reflect, and write about my experiences. 2017 was an amazing year and full of love! And though it was all of that and more, there were moments that I did not share the not-so-amazing because I just didn’t make room for it. I have been quite dismissive on issues that were important if they did not seem positive or uplifting. I withheld compassion for myself and for others in negative situations because I just didn’t have time for it. But now, I understand what was missing and that was simply the allowance of time and space to properly heal & learn. In the coming weeks, I will share these lessons one by one.

For now, without getting into too much detail, I would love to share an excerpt from A Return To Love by Marianne Williamson. I’m sure I’ve shared here before.. a reminder. It is for myself, but also for you in case you’ve forgotten a midst the whirlwind of your busy life.

Thank you, 2017.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us;
It’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

-Marianne Williamson

xx love & light.

IMG_1027 Gratitude.

Take a pen and paper, and make a list of all the things that make you happy right now. The sky, water, flowers, the air that you breathe, the food that you eat, the water that keeps you hydrated, the blessed life that you live, the one that you’re with, the scents that you smell from your favorite candles, the pets that you love, the kids in your life, the angels that watch over you, freshly squeezed orange juice, caffeine, pizza, love.

Happiness is not something we chase, it is something we have within us and can pull out at anytime. And you achieve it by counting your blessings. Count all the things that are right about this world, and stop paying attention to all the wrong. You are only perpetuating more of the wrong to become your reality. Place your mind at where you want the world to go. Love the world (and yourself) back to health by thinking clean, speaking clean.

“I was once asked why I don’t participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I’ll be there.” -Mother Teresa

Start each day with a grateful heart. Aim to wakeup with the sun. As soon as you wake up give thanks for your breath. Today I am grateful for my Mondays, I am always looking for inspiration from within to keep moving forward. Mondays are a great day to rejuvenate goals, make plans for the week, make a promise to choose health. Start bright & early. Let’s go!

Today I started with meditation, water, coffee, a new playlist for class, and you! (blogging).

sunina_beautyreflectionn This time last year, I was all about high heels, 5 inches and higher only- never caught in flats,  now I rock bare feet on the daily– lol. I would never go out without a full face of perfect makeup, I’ve toned that down and am more carefree now for sure. My body feels effortlessly healthy whereas last year I was always ‘chasing‘ fitness.. I’d rather catch up over green juice than drinks. But these are all outer, material things.

It’s amazing how one year can change so many things, but I am speaking in regards to perspective specifically.

What really matters, the shift in perspective and experiencing events from the seat of awareness.. is what inspired me to write this post. It was truly eye opening the other day when I saw a reflection of how I used to be – it was someone I interacted with the entire morning of my birthday on April 2nd (thank you for all the birthday wishes!!!!). It was someone I knew on a working level. The fact that I was able to see a direct reflection as it was happening was AMAZING. In short, she was easily offended, quick to blame, and not showing her best effort. I could see the frustration was coming from the fact that she knew she could do better, but wasn’t for whatever reasons or excuses she made up for herself. Although this attitude and harsh accusations quickly led to the end of our working relationship, all I could really allow myself to feel was compassion. When you are not doing what you LOVE, when you do not follow your bliss, when you are not grateful for what you are doing, then you are working against the world. It feels like it is you against the entire world. The people who are placed in your life are there for a reason, be grateful.  They may be your mirror so you can see how you truly are, they may be supporters who help you get to where you need to be, and they may be lessons..

I am grateful everyday for the unexpected lessons and reflections that come my way in the most least expected times and places. Listen and watch for signs, life is such a blessing. Throw away your excuses and live the life you are destined to. When it’s cloudy, shift your perspective and watch the sun peak out- it’s there.. you’ve just got to look higher.

xx love & light.

I really hope the workout moves this week were helpful, and kept you moving! Working out can be terribly hard and sometimes boring!! My goal is to offer variety so I can keep myself challenged too!

The focus this week was to activate your core- can never overwork your abs.. the stronger your abs the better your overall health & core strength.

I love keeping Fridays as a day off on the blog for reflection. Physical activity releases negative energy and toxins, therefore promotes a still mind which reduces stress so you have more mental space to just be happy!!!!

We all have so much to be happy about- take 60 seconds to think about everything and everyone you are thankful for..

I am personally very excited that after years of trial and error I have finally found a release for my natural ambition. The opportunity to officially be able to encourage others to reach for better is an amazing task to have.

Have a great weekend- the next workout post is Monday! x
