Saturday Beauty Inspiration - Pink Pow-Wow! Vintage Japanese Lipstick Ad, 1969. Honestly the ad is a bit creepy but I can still see why it would’ve been considered beautiful to Asians in ‘69: pure white skin, big western eyes, long defined lashes, plump heart-shaped lips. It’s a vintage ad but it’s still the preferred look of some Asians today. You can identify them by those who carry umbrellas under the sun or wear obnoxiously large sun hats down the street or at the beach. Have a beautiful weekend!!
